In this case study, I show you how we strengthened the online presence of Carina Gerlach, personal trainer and founder of Pelveasy, step by step, with targeted SEO and creative copywriting.

Starting Point

With Pelveasy, Carina specialized in a topic that is highly competitive online and needs a lot of explanation at the same time. The challenge: becoming visible online, building trust, and winning qualified inquiries, instead of chasing reach for its own sake.

Our Approach

1. Google Business Profile & Directory Listings

We fully built out and optimized her Google Business Profile and created all relevant directory listings, the foundation for local visibility and trust.

2. Local Partnerships

Through targeted local partnerships, we built reach and referrals in her region, a lever that works exceptionally well for specialized offers.

3. Solid Content Strategy & Copywriting

With a well-founded content strategy and creative copywriting, we created content that showcases Carina's expertise and truly speaks to her target audience, from search intent to tone of voice.

4. Local Landing Pages for Pelvic Floor Training

For the regions of Giessen, Pohlheim, and Wetzlar, we built six local landing pages for pelvic floor training and personal training, in Pelveasy’s corporate design, with clean local structure and a clear path to getting in touch. This way, Carina is found exactly where her clients actually search.

The Result

  • Significant increase in qualified new customer inquiries
  • Stronger presence in her industry

The Numbers from Search Console

16 months in, the data speaks for itself: 2,753 clicks and 129,453 impressions, with a visible growth inflection from mid-2024 when the content strategy kicked in. Average position sits at 19.2 with a 2.1% CTR.

Carina shares how the journey felt from her perspective in episode 7 of my podcast "Behind the Scenes in Marketing": (Online) Erfolgreich als Personal Trainerin (in German).

Conclusion

Visibility alone is not the goal, qualified inquiries are. The combination of a local SEO foundation, partnerships, and a content strategy with a clear message got Pelveasy exactly there.
