Tutorial: Create & Start Apify Account

Step 1: Go to apify.com

Open the sign up form on the website: https://apify.com

Step 2: Create an account

You have 3 options: Google Login (fast & recommended) GitHub Login Or: Register with email + password Tip: Use a business email if you use automations for clients.

Step 3: Confirm your email

If you registered with email: You will receive a confirmation email from Apify Open the email & click on the confirmation link

Step 4: Generate API Token (for your scripts)

After logging in: Go to your profile icon at the top right → Settings Select the tab “Integrations” Under “API Authentication” you will find your Personal API Token You need this e.g. for Python scripts or Google Colab Notebooks: from apify_client import ApifyClient client = ApifyClient("YOUR_API_TOKEN")

Step 5: Select your first Actor template

Apify is based on so-called Actors (like small bots).
