SEO services: industries and services
Two routes into the same work. Either you look for your industry because your market has its own rules. Or you already know which service you need. Both lead to the same result: qualified visibility that pays into revenue, not just rankings.
I work as an SEO freelancer, not an agency. That means you talk to the person who analyses, prioritizes and guides. No handover to rotating junior staff.
By industry
The industry determines where SEO fails. An online shop struggles with filter URLs, variants and load times on product listings. An industrial company struggles with PDF datasheets, country versions and internal approvals. So I start where your market actually stands, instead of working through a standard checklist.
By service
If you already know what is due: a one-off analysis, ongoing support, a relaunch or a market entry.
What SEO services actually cover
Search engine optimization is not a single task but four areas of work that interact. Depending on your starting point, the emphasis sits somewhere else.
Technical optimization
Crawling, indexing, load times and Core Web Vitals, structured data, status codes and redirects. This is where it is decided whether search engines and AI systems can read your content cleanly at all.
On-page and content
Page structure, headings, titles and meta descriptions, internal linking and content that matches search intent. Often the area with the fastest visible effect.
Keywords and search intent
Which search terms actually bring revenue and not just traffic. Plus the question of which page type belongs to which query, so that several pages do not compete for the same term.
Visibility in AI answers
Classic rankings are only part of visibility now. More and more searches end in an AI answer. If you do not appear there as a source, you lose reach even though your rankings look stable.
One-off or ongoing: which fits you?
The most common question in a first call. There is no universally right answer, but there is a fairly clear rule of thumb.
An audit is enough if ...
... you have a team that can implement and mainly need to know what the cause is. Before a relaunch, or when you have a specific suspicion, the one-off analysis is also the right entry point.
Ongoing support fits if ...
... you need priorities on an ongoing basis, several parties have to be coordinated, or the website keeps changing. Monthly SEO support is then cheaper than repeated one-off analyses.
If you are unsure, start with the audit. It can turn into ongoing support at any time. The other way round, you pay for months without knowing your starting point.
How we work together
Intro call
30 minutes, free of charge. We clarify where you stand and whether I am the right partner at all. If I am not, I will say so. How the intro call works
analyses/month
I look at your website, your numbers and any analyses you already have. Work already done gets assessed, not repeated.
Prioritization
The findings turn into a sequence ordered by impact and effort, each one justified and understandable for non-SEOs.
Implementation and proof
Your team implements, I provide technical guidance and demonstrate the effect in the numbers.
When I am not the right fit
Being upfront saves both sides time. In these cases you should look elsewhere:
- You are looking for pure production capacity for copy or link building. An agency is the better choice for that.
- You need guaranteed positions by a fixed date. No one can make that promise credibly.
- Nobody internally is meant to be involved. Without a contact on your side, every analysis fizzles out in the backlog.
Frequently asked questions about SEO services
Which SEO service do I need first?
Almost always an analysis. Without knowing the cause, every action is guesswork. An audit clarifies whether the problem is technical, sits in the content, or comes from targeting the wrong search terms. Ongoing SEO support only pays off after that.
What does ongoing SEO support cost?
Monthly SEO support starts at 1,500 EUR per month, a one-off audit at 1,500 EUR. The actual effort depends on the size of your website, the number of languages and how much your team implements itself.
Freelancer or SEO agency, which is better?
An agency makes sense when a lot of implementation is outsourced. With a freelancer you work directly with the person who does the analysis and makes the calls, with no handover losses and no rotating junior staff. If you have your own team that can implement, this is usually the more efficient route.
How long does it take for SEO to work?
Technical fixes and snippet optimization often show an effect within a few weeks. Structural work such as new content areas or internationalization realistically takes six to twelve months. Anyone promising faster is selling an expectation they cannot keep.
Do you also work with our existing team or agency?
Yes, that is the normal case. I take on analysis, prioritization and technical guidance while your team or agency implements. Existing audits and ongoing work get assessed, not repeated.
Not sure where to start?
Then start with the problem, not with the offer. In a first call we look at your numbers together and I tell you honestly whether and where I am the right partner.
