SEO Tools Backup is an internal component of the SEO platform operated at www.antonioblago.com. It is not called by end users, but only authorized by the platform operator to back up data to their own Google Drive account.

What this application does

The application regularly backs up the following content to a dedicated Google Drive folder in the operator's account:

  • Database exports (MySQL dumps) from the platform
  • Log files and audit logs
  • Configuration snapshots and deployment artifacts
  • Media and image files from the content workflow

Who has access

Only the platform operator Antonio Blago authorizes this application with their own Google account. No end-user OAuth sign-in occurs through this client ID; end-user OAuth for Google Search Console and Analytics runs through a separate, clearly labeled application.

Google APIs and scopes used

SEO Tools Backup requests only the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive Full access to Google Drive of the authorizing account to create backup folders, upload and read files, and delete old backups according to retention policy.
  • openid Standard OpenID scope to identify the authorized account.
  • email Reading the email address of the authorizing account to ensure only the operator account is authorized.

These scopes are used exclusively for the backup purposes mentioned above. No data is shared with third parties.

Data handling

  • All backup content remains in the operator's Google Drive account.
  • Sensitive content is AES-256-encrypted before upload.
  • OAuth refresh tokens are encrypted in the server database (Fernet, AES-128 with HMAC-SHA256).
  • No sale, advertising use, or sharing of data obtained via Google APIs with third parties takes place.
  • Backups are automatically deleted after the retention period expires (90 days by default).
